Assistant Baseball CoachUIW MissionPosition SummaryThe Assistant Baseball Coach will serve in all phases of a competitive baseball program in accordance with University of the Incarnate Word, Southland Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. The Assistant Baseball Coach reports to the Head Baseball Coach.Essential FunctionsJob DutiesKnowledge Skills and Abilities• Must exhibit leadership and professional behavior in dealing with student-athletes.• Must be a team player, and have the ability to support and assist other employees.• Must be dependable and have strong customer service skills.• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.• Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.Required EducationBachelor's Degree.Required Work ExperienceThree (3) years of professional baseball coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.
