Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor brand health and performance tracking (Nielsen/NABCA, Shipments, Numerator, etc.) and effectively manage brand budgets to optimize marketing spend and ROI
  • Partner with external agencies (i.e. creative, digital, social, media) and nurture internal sales team relationships to develop and execute marketing content and activations.
  • Execute marketing campaigns from media-to-shelf considering all touchpoints along the path to purchase, including TV, Digital & Social, OOH, and in-store
  • Execute sports and tentpole programs that move with the speed of culture, in order to remain connected & relevant with consumers and their passion points
  • Partner with Trade Marketing to own the development of commercial selling tools & merchandising materials (sell sheets, displays, POS, etc.) to grow distribution and close the sale at the consumers’ moment of choice
  • Participate in new product developments that drive consumer demand, collaborating with cross-functional partners in the U.S. and Mexico
  • Partner with senior level brand managers to develop brand strategy and plans from ideation through to execution, to drive long-term growth for the brand

  • Internal: Field Sales, Commercial Team, Trade Marketing/POS, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Public Relations & Marketing department
  • External: Distributor Partners, Agency Partners, Advertising/Creative/Social Media/PR & Sports Team Partnerships

Knowledge and Experience

  • BS/ degree in marketing or related field required (MBA a plus)
  • Two plus years plus of brand marketing experience preferably related to the Spirits Industry or FMCG
  • Working knowledge of three-tier distribution system
  • Passionate about alcohol beverage industry with a desire to learn
  • Experience working with and managing agency partners
  • Proven project management skills, organizational ability, data analysis, and budget management
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data that drives business insights, including a working knowledge of Nielsen
  • Desire to live the brand and become a brand evangelist
  • Creative, conceptual and imaginative, yet practical enough to solve day-to-day problems
  • Keen eye for high quality aesthetic appeal across all brand creative and activations
  • Ability to manage projects independently from start to finish and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of management, including senior leadership.
  • Confident creative thinker capable of generating consumer insights to meaningfully advance the perception of the brand
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Professional writing and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel as needed and willingness to work in the Jersey City, NJ office three/ four days per week.

The salary range for this role is a base salary of $85,400 - $113,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, and medical and wellness benefits. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience and skill set against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
