A valid driver's license issued by the State where the applicant resides and insurability as defined in UTS 157 may be required to perform the position's essential functions.Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for recruiting student-athletes, on and off campus.Supervises academic progress of student-athletes.Responsible for the scouting of upcoming golf courses.Serves as a liaison to the Booster Club.Coordinates clinics, summer camps, volunteer activities, and fundraisers for the sport.Active involvement in the El Paso community.Assists in the scheduling and coordination of golf tournament competitions.Helps with Planning, management, and evaluation of practice.Arranges travel to competition.Performs some administrative responsivities including ordering of team equipment and uniforms.Knowledge of and compliance with NCAA Rules and Regulations including attendance of NCAA Rules Seminars, timely completion of all NCAA forms and requests for information.Employee agrees to abide by the Code of Ethics as set forth by the University of Texas at El Paso and the University of Texas System.Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems.Complies with all State and University policies.Other duties may be assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.QualificationsQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
