Summary
This position provides executive level assistance to the Dean of the College of Musical Arts (CMA), including administrative oversight and coordination of all operations in the Dean's Office. Primary duties include, college-level scheduling, budgeting, contracting, and purchasing, major event planning, data collection and college-level reporting, coordination between Dean's Office and three academic departments, and communications with various campus offices.
Essential Functions
• Provide assistance to the Dean
• Coordinate college-level room scheduling
• Support of Pre-College music programs (program director support, correspondence, registrations, instructor background checks)
• Assist Associate Dean as needed (correspondence, summer budget, special projects)
• Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
The following Degree is required:
• Bachelor's degree required. Degree must be conferred at the time of application.
The following Experience is required:
• 2 years' experience in communications, budgeting, and/or project/program management.
The following Experience is preferred:
• 1 year experience in higher education
