DMD or DDS degree from a CODA accredited institution or proof of graduation from a non-CODA accredited dental school and evidence that the degree makes the candidate eligible to practice dentistry in the jurisdiction from which the applicant graduated.

Evidence that the candidate is eligible to receive an unrestricted Kentucky dental license or a Kentucky dental faculty license.
Certificate in endodontics from a CODA accredited institution.
Eligible to become a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

Job Summary

The University of Kentucky College of Dentistry is inviting applications for a full-time faculty position in the non-tenure track for the Division of Endodontics, Department of Oral Health Practice. Our college is well known as a leader in digital dentistry and with a low student-teacher ratio and collegial atmosphere, there exists an excellent opportunity for the selected skilled clinician to be an integral part of the current development of an elite endodontic residency program and to enhance the clinical and academic mission of the College through research, teaching and service. The anticipated start date for this assignment is January 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide didactic, preclinical and clinical instruction in the endodontic Predoctoral program
• Provide didactic and clinical instruction in the endodontic Postgraduate program
• Assume directorship of endodontic courses assigned
• Provide continuing education instruction as necessary to meet program needs
• Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of educational programs in the Division of Endodontics
• Serve as a consultant to postgraduate students in other advanced education programs
• Opportunity to provide direct patient care
• Demonstrate scholarship/professional development
• Provide academic and personal advising for assigned student dentists
• Serve on division, department, College, Medical Center and University committees as assigned
