Required Education

Doctorate level degree in Social Work: PhD or DSW
Completion of required education to provide Clinical Supervision for social workers.



Required Related Experience

Minimum of 3 years post independent licensure experience



Required License/Registration/Certification

Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or equivalent, licensure as an LCSW required prior to start date.



Job Summary

This position is needed in the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine, in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the Division, Department and College in education, service and research consistent with the mission of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

The primary responsibilities for this position include clinical care for children and adolescents with medical, developmental and/or behavioral problems, supervision of trainees in pediatrics, teaching residents, medical students and graduate students in clinical area and research related to pediatrics and adolescent medicine. The faculty member will have the following responsibilities, which address and support the tripartite mission and goals of the Department of Pediatrics.
