North Idaho College is looking for an enthusiastic and student-centered biology educator to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Biology with a focus on Anatomy and Physiology. In this role, you'll help students build a strong foundation in the biological sciences through hands-on lab work, engaging instruction, and thoughtful academic support.

We're seeking someone who communicates clearly and confidently, uses technology comfortably, and brings strong organization and critical thinking to both classroom and lab environments. You should be excited about supporting students from all backgrounds, adapting to different learning styles, and contributing to a positive, collaborative campus culture.

Your work will include teaching a full-time course load, participating in curriculum development, advising students, and working closely with your department colleagues. You'll be encouraged to grow professionally, stay current in your field, and bring fresh ideas to the table. While this role is rooted in Anatomy and Physiology, we value creativity and an openness to evolving course needs.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience: Master's Degree in Biology with emphasis in Physiology, Anatomy and Physiology, or related area. Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of students, faculty, and staff from multi-cultural backgrounds.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
"¢ Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
"¢ Ability to use a personal computer and associated peripherals and current version of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, Internet, and alternative delivery systems (e.g., internet and interactive video) at a proficient level.
"¢ Ability to learn and use college systems used for teaching and advising, such as a Learning Management System and campus student information system
"¢ Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone, fax, copier

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule:
This tenure track position has summers off, with pay and benefits spread over 12 months!

Starting pay range: $50,834 - $70,554
