Job Summary
The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Kentucky is actively recruiting a full-time physician with a focus on Pediatric Emergency Medicine. The ideal candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
This position will provide clinical coverage for the Kentucky Children’s Hospital Acute Treatment Service (KCATS) and serve as a key faculty member contributing to the care and triage of pediatric patients in a multidisciplinary setting. The physician will also offer additional clinical coverage in the Pediatric Emergency Department on an as-needed basis, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced academic medical center.
Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in clinical care, medical education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Opportunities for teaching, research, and participation in quality improvement initiatives within the department are available and encouraged.
