Job Summary
The University of Kentucky is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Horn to join our outstanding faculty in the UK School of Music for Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate applied horn; teach horn brass methods; lead weekly studio class; and perform as a member of the University of Kentucky Faculty Brass Quintet. Additional teaching responsibilities may include courses in other areas of expertise as determined by the needs of the curricula and the qualifications of the successful candidate. The professor must sustain a successful recruitment/retention record, develop a varied portfolio of creative/scholarly activities, and exhibit service contributions appropriate for a university faculty member.
