The University of Kentucky College of Medicine invites applications and nominations for the position of Assistant Professor, research track, in the Department of Physiology. This research track position will focus on Neuroscience Research.
The Department of Physiology is highly ranked in the Blue Ridge Institute metrics and is a multidisciplinary unit of highly productive faculty. The faculty have substantial extramural funds to support their research and are engaged in significant teaching efforts for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.
Our research is enhanced by a highly collaborative environment with multiple Colleges. UK is one of only a handful of academic medical centers in the nation that have all health profession schools on one campus: Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health and Health Sciences. In addition, the department is well positioned to undergo substantial thematic growth under new leadership.
