Job Description
Job Summary: Manage plan and implement the delivery of registrar operations including maintenance of student information systems, production of data, queries and reports and general system coordination.
Job-Specific Responsibilities:
The Assistant Registrar for Enrollment Services will serve as a leader in Enrollment Services and a key member of the Registrar’s management team. The Assistant Registrar will assist the Associate Registrar in leading the Enrollment Services team, which performs critical FAS enrollment functions, including registration, matriculation, student progress and degree auditing, enrollment data reporting, assessment of more than half a billion dollars in tuition and fees per year, student discipline outcomes, constituent services, degree certification, and graduation. This position will play a critical role in the assessment, prioritization and management of Enrollment Services related projects. The Assistant Registrar will supervise support staff, including assessing performance, guiding day-to-day activities, and utilizing resources wisely. This position will also contribute to the formulation of Registrar, College, and GSAS student enrollment policies and other Registrarial responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience
Additional Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Higher Education or related management field preferred
- Advanced computer skills, specifically related to student databases and office productivity software
- Ability to manage staff in a way that contributes to the goals of the Registrar
- Proven experience showing good judgment and decision making
- Knowledge of federal, state and University regulations
Additional Information
- Standard Hours/Schedule: 35 hours per week
- Compensation Range/Rate: New hires can anticipate a salary somewhere in the lower end of the salary range. The amount will vary based on the position and the candidate’s relevant experience.

Work Format Details
This is a position that is based at a Harvard campus location with some remote work options available. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. All remote work must be performed within one of the Harvard Registered Payroll States, which currently includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and California (CA for exempt positions only). Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
