This is a seasonal part-time position. Position is expected to coach sport within the mission of St. Anthony Catholic High School and our Core Values of Honesty & Integrity; Community; Service & Social Justice; Scholarship; and Holistic Education. The Assistant Softball Coach reports to the Athletic Director.St. Anthony Catholic High School prepares young men and women for positions of responsibility and leadership through a college preparatory curriculum based on Catholic values and traditions.Essential FunctionsJob DutiesKnowledge Skills and Abilities• Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.• Must possess a thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies and techniques of the sport.• Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents and students.• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.Required EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Required Work ExperienceTwo (2) years of softball coaching experience or collegiate playing experience.
