The Role

Do you want to make an impact on our customers’ businesses and contribute as part of a highly collaborative, cross‑functional team committed to enhancing the value of our event programs within Fidelity? We are looking for an Event Marketing Associate to support all phases of the event lifecycle, including planning, implementation, and post‑event data analysis.

This Associate will work closely with our Event Marketing team to assist in developing innovative approaches that focus on the marketing, promotion, and execution of events for key clients and prospects.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Support marketing and business partners in coordinating event operations and execution for proprietary and third‑party industry events.

  • Assist in managing event deliverables, such as speaker preparation, thought leadership placement, brand presence, Social Media plans and attendee engagement.

  • Contribute ideas and support for sponsorship booth builds, including content selection and ensuring visible calls-to-action.

  • Own and maintain internal marketing tools and repositories including presentation and speaker libraries, and processes in Cvent and Adobe Workfront

  • Collaborate on presentation content and ensure accurate, compliant, and compelling materials are prepared for all events.

  • Partner with the Marketing Effectiveness team to compile post‑event reports, including attendee feedback, performance against goals, and recommendations for improvements.

  • As a team member of the Center of Excellence for Communities and Engagement, you will have the opportunity to partner and help on other events and projects.

  • You maintain clear, consistent communication and help keep project timelines on track.

  • You remain composed and effective under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Preferred experience in event coordination, project support, content coordination, or marketing.

  • You bring a customer‑first mindset to your work, focusing on solving customer needs throughout the event lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Workfront, and CVENT is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.

The Team

This dynamic and collaborative event marketing team is part of Fidelity Institutional and Asset Management marketing organization, supporting institutional investors and financial intermediaries (banks, broker dealers, registered investment advisors). Our team is passionate about raising the voice of Fidelity in the marketplace by driving an event marketing strategy aligned to our business goals and objectives. We develop event experiences that will provoke conversation and help drive action, ultimately to help our clients succeed and grow. We partner with various groups across Fidelity to ensure we bring the best to our customers.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
