
Associate, Quantitative Strategist
Job Description:
The Role
The Quantitative Strategist will be responsible for both improving the performance of trading algorithms to meet client objectives and supporting platform analytics.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field
- Hands on programming experience
- Experience self-building low-cost tooling to solve problems and improve your own working efficiency
- Familiarity with UNIX systems and time series data structures
- Ability to tell stories with data, leveraging Tableau and other data visualization tools
- Series 7, Series 63, and Series 57 will be required within 6 months of hiring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of modern statistical concepts used by data scientists, including visualization techniques using Python, R, or KDB
- Familiarity or eagerness to learn trading, equity market microstructure, and execution algorithms
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize issues, work efficiently, and independently
- Effective verbal and written communication skills appropriate to all levels of internal and external customers
- You bring a strong team orientation and ability to function as a team player

- Designing trading solutions that address our clients’ most complex portfolio implementation and trading challenges

The Team
The Quantitative Strategist will join a team of experts responsible for delivering and optimizing bespoke equity trading solutions for asset managers and hedge funds. You will work closely with various teams including sales, product owners and other quantitative strategists to drive revenue. Teamwork, communication, and organization skills are essential for a successful candidate. In close collaboration with fellow quantitative strategists and technologists, you will research, develop, and deploy novel trading algorithms to improve trading efficiency for our clients. You will also leverage your data and programming expertise to drive scalable analytics efforts across the trading platform.
The base salary range for this position is $76,000-$144,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
