The Team
As an Associate Software Engineer in the Fidelity Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology group, you will contribute to the development of security master solutions for Core Brokerage Platform Technology division. This is a hands-on role to support the software development team in all phases of the software development life cycle. Implement features or fix issues with existing applications.
The Expertise You Have
1+ years of technology experience in development, modification, integration, and maintenance of software solutions.
Design, decode, debug and test programs to meet business requirements for software development
Experience developing applications in the cloud (Kubernetes, AWS, etc.)
Experience in overall end-to-end Software Engineering in an agile environment
Ability to work in a fast paced, highly matrix environment to achieve group goals
Previous experience using business requirements to develop technical designs and define architectural strategies and solutions
Dedication to sharing knowledge and providing guidance to less experienced developers in their work
Ability to communicate problems and recommend solutions to project leaders
BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineer field.
The Skills You Bring
1+ years of hands-on experience of building solutions on the AWS platform
Demonstrated Understanding and proven track record for cloud-based solutions, continuous integration/deployment and cloud architecture.
Willingness to partner optimally with your technology business partners
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Participate in problem solving, troubleshooting, performance tuning, production support, and maintenance of existing applications.
Working across cloud infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs.
Implementing with AWS services technologies and practices, building applications using services such as AWS EC2, ECS, Lambda, EMR, Cloud Formation.
Coordinating with the team on engineering and continuous integration & delivery CI/CD practices.
Building container-based systems: Architecture, implementation and managing orchestration platform such as: Kubernetes, Docker, ECS.
Deep understanding of well architected framework implementation in Enterprises: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency and cost optimization.
Completing with web, event driven, caching, batch architectures, designing systems for high throughput, low latency, high availability, and fault tolerance
