JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Supervise and monitors the daily functions of the pricing group.
This position will organize and oversee the analysis on existing business, process improvement, promotion impact,
competitive pricing comparisons, customer audit response, credit/debit memo processing, ad hoc reporting, training and
SOPs, customer rebate processing, weekly customer pricing analysis, customer database maintenance, usage
forecasting, maintenance of JDE Adjustment Schedules and Contracts, pricing customer service, weekly Income
management, daily AP/PO confirmations, Product Price Variance reconciliation, daily margin analysis, commodity
pricing analysis, Customer Data Transmission Processing (for example, GPS) and Teammate training.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to:
• Chain Pricing Ownership - to take on primary functional responsibility for a chain or chains and all its pricing
activities in support of the Pricing Manager (with whom the overall responsibility for the chain will ultimately
reside). Alternatively, be tactical point of contact for multiple chains with primary responsibility residing with
Pricing Manager. Responsible for the analysis to ensure that the chain(s) are maintaining adequate margin
and competitiveness. - (25%)
• Supervision of Pricing Analysts and all the tasks related to such management including coaching, mentoring,
annual reviews, goal setting, etc. - (50%)
• Process Improvement & Reporting - to ensure that practices are in place so department is pricing accurately
and efficiently and we are absorbing new business effectively. Ad hoc, and periodic report generation for the
senior managers. - (5%)
• Training/Coaching - To ensure new hires and teammates that shift positions within the department are trained
with a structured training program involving SOP usage - (5%)
• Pricing - weekly pricing activities as needed. - (5%)
• Cost Management - daily purchase order, accounts payable, and product price variance reconciliation. - (5%)
• Vendor/UFPC GPS Processing - processing of GPS/Source documents from the UFPC/other Co-ops. - (5%)

MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
A teammate in this position must:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
• Have at least 3 years of purchasing, inventory, and cost accounting processes.
• Must have the ability to track activities and meet deadlines.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to multiple tasks in an ever changing work environment
• Good knowledge of the JDE purchasing systems, Freight on Board calculations, Customer Co-op vendor/
item/cost change information, standard freight processes and price change income.
• Good Purchasing/Inventory/Accounting/Finance Skills
• Very detail oriented.
• Very organized.
• Excellent process improvement skills.
• Ability to lead training programs for new teammates in the department.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
• Good People Management skills
• Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office products.
