Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate relationships with key OEM corporate contacts and understand all key OEM measurables.
- Utilize OEM portals to leverage data to drive strategic decisions.
- Conduct thorough market analysis including sales and aftersales PMAs, distribution lists, and site surveys.
- Evaluate process execution across all dealership roles and ensure staffing is aligned for optimal performance.
- Analyze survey trends and facilitate mystery shopping exercises.
- Develop action plans in collaboration with GMs and market teams to address deficiencies and drive results.
- Drive accountability through training, coaching, and performance management.
- Collaborate with analytics, facilities, marketing, and HR teams to support brand initiatives.
- Track store performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize technology tools to enhance sales efficiency, diagnose opportunities, and conduct root cause analysis.

- Obtain logins for all OE portals
- Map all sales and aftersales PMAs. Consider third party market study
- Obtain all Regional and local distribution lists
- Complete site survey and store visits for key stores (eventually all)
- Observe/evaluate process execution for key positions and top and bottom stores
- Identify staffing levels for all Sales Associates, Service Advisors and Technicians
- Review survey trends and hotspots
- Complete employee Satisfaction Survey / 360 GM Evaluations
- Mystery-shop our stores and top performing competitors
- Observe/Conduct MOR/QOR with MP and store
Strategic Execution
- Identify focus stores below minimum standards and establish realistic timeline to “fix”
- In partnership with the GMs and market teams, create action plans that incorporate key business drivers:
- How many units, surveys, ROs, etc. are needed to achieve efficiency with a timeline
- Staffing needed to deliver results (workforce planning) with timeline
- Develop incentive programs to align behaviors with business strategy (i.e., spiffs, pay changes, bonus tiers, etc.)
- Targeted marketing plans to promote zips and models
- Develop vehicle configuration, stocking, and pricing strategy
- Identify training gaps
- Drive accountability through training, coaching and performance modification as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 7+ years’ Regional VP/National level for Automotive OEM manufacturing or automotive retail platform management experience.
- Proficiency in negotiating framework agreements and understanding financial statements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- In-depth understanding of retail/dealership and OEM operations.
- Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements in the automotive industry.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across various OEMs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Proactive approach to finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.
