We have an opening for an experienced Systems Analyst to join the Fidelity Institutional Business Enablement Technology (FIBET) team. The team is responsible for designing, developing & implementing products that advance Fidelity customer’s digital experiences. We use a variety of technologies, which means we use our current skills and continue to grow in our careers by learning new technologies.

The Expertise we are looking for:

  • 10+ years of analyst experience delivering Marketing focused digital solutions of high value
  • Proficient in conducting technical and business analysis, gathering and writing requirements, designing and maintaining dynamic solutions & translating strategic objectives into technical roadmaps
  • Can communicate effectively across workstreams (U/X, Content, Architecture, Engineering, Legal and Compliance teams) translating business and client needs into technical requirements
  • An affinity for technology and knowledge of systems integration technologies and standards
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions
  • Proficient using Confluence & JIRA
  • Familiarity with APIs and how to call them via an API tool is a plus (Insomnia / Bruno)
  • Some familiarity with SQL and how to interpret/modify queries
  • Basic knowledge of angular components and REST APIs is a plus

The Purpose of your role:

You will be a member of a co-located scrum team made up of software engineers, quality assurance engineers and squad lead (product owner) responsible for delivering key customer features.

  • Ability to work with squad lead and delivery team to meet business and client needs
  • Able to digest and break down stories, working closely with the team’s tech lead
  • You are deeply effective in written and verbal communications and are dedicated to tailoring content to the appropriate audience (business vs. technology, associate vs. management)
  • Communicating progress to technology and business partners at all levels
  • Determined, self-managed, energetic, passionate, and motivated with the ability to work independently to deliver results

The Value you deliver

  • Focus on customer: Demonstrate understanding of customer's business domain.
  • Ensuring the technology team is building the right software solutions and components to maximize customer experience
  • Strong technical interest in financial services and ability to research and learn new technologies
  • Able to digest and break down stories, working closely with the team’s tech lead
  • Facilitating flow of requirements from the business to the technology team

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $55.00-$80.10 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
