Schedule • Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with one required lateevening shift

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, studentcentered professional to lead the center’s standards, incentives, and behaviormanagement systems. This role is ideal for individuals with experience supporting youth development, enforcing policy, resolving behavioral concerns, and cultivating a positive culture aligned with Job Corps’ Career Success Standards (CSS).

The CSIO oversees discipline processes, student incentives, peer leadership programs, and compliance with federal Job Corps standards (PRH). This position requires strong judgment, accountability, and the ability to build rapport with young adults while upholding center expectations.

This role is wellsuited for individuals with experience in:

• Student behavior management or youth development
• Policy enforcement, compliance, or case management
• Leading teams or training staff
• Conducting investigations, hearings, or factfinding processes
• Coordinating student programs or incentive systems
• Supporting a positive, safe, and inclusive student culture

This is an onsite, studentfacing position that requires consistent professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor and support students while maintaining high standards for behavior and safety.

Your work directly influences center culture, student success, and overall campus climate.

What You’ll Do

Standards Enforcement & Behavior Management

• Lead the SPO department in all matters related to student conduct, discipline, behavior expectations, and incentives.
• Oversee disciplinary actions, behavior review panels, conduct meetings, factfinding boards, and hearings while ensuring due process and PRH compliance.
• Resolve student complaints and alleged violations of center standards.
• Provide feedback to staff regarding disciplinary outcomes and trends.
• Enforce and publicize Zero Tolerance and antibullying policies.
• Collaborate with safety, security, residential living, counseling, recreation, and other departments to uphold standards and support students.

Training, Leadership & Student Support

• Provide supervision, training, and guidance to SPO personnel.
• Conduct orientation and training for staff and students on the disciplinary system.
• Conduct oneonone interviews with new enrollees to reinforce expectations and address concerns.
• Inspire students to participate in peer leadership programs and contribute positively to center culture.
• Counsel students, confer with parents, and assist in resolving concerns impacting student behavior on or off center.
• Model, mentor, and reinforce positive normative culture and Career Success Standards (CSS).

Incentives, Documentation & Compliance

• Administer the incentives program to reward positive behavior, gains in career pathways, and overall student progress.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of peer leadership programs and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate and timely case notes in the Center Information System (CIS).
• Report serious or critical incidents according to established guidelines and prepare required reports for the Center Director.
• Ensure all departmental administrative functions are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Evaluate center culture and recommend changes to enhance student outcomes and campus climate.

Accountability, Ethics & Safety

• Act as a responsible custodian of assigned center property.
• Report violations of ethical behavior.
• Identify and report environmental, health, and safety concerns.
• Suggest opportunities to improve operations and reduce waste.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field
• Two years of related experience
• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
• Experience working with youth required
• Ability to ensure contractual compliance and effective service delivery
• Ability to model, mentor, and monitor CSS standards
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (if driving is required)
• Proof of U.S. work eligibility (I9 verification)
• Ability to pass a preemployment background check and drug screening
