Position Summary

The Channel Analytics Manager will support the Off-Premise National Accounts team by uncovering consumer and shopper insights that drive category growth and long-term brand performance for Proximo’s portfolio. This role blends data-driven analysis with direct customer engagement, providing insights and strategies that influence account-level decisions, joint business planning, and commercial execution.

The position requires strong presentation skills, comfort in customer-facing environments, and the flexibility to travel as needed to support key account meetings and planning sessions.

This role requires candidates to be based on the East Coast.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead actionable analyses, including:
  • Category and brand reviews using Nielsen/IRI
  • New item and distribution expansion opportunities
  • Consumer purchase behavior and profiles (Spectra, GfK, Simmons, IRI CSIA)
  • Off-premises channel trends and performance drivers
  • Assortment and shelf management (Apollo, JDA, Gladson)
  • Pricing, promotion, and ad comparisons (ECRM)
  • Shopper trends and digital engagement (Mintel, eMarketer)
  • Develop and deliver customer-ready presentations and business reviews tailored to national account needs (club, grocery, liquor, mass, and e-commerce).
  • Represent Proximo insights in customer meetings, supporting joint business planning and category leadership initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales, Trade Marketing, and Category teams to align strategies and influence execution.
  • Manage and resolve Nielsen/IRI data and database issues, providing clear recommendations.
  • Travel as required to support customer engagement and strategic planning.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in an Analyst role or equivalent.
  • Experience with beverage companies or CPG a plus.
  • Experience with BevAlc competitive data analysis a plus.
  • Experience documenting and managing program spend a plus
  • Very strong analytical and Excel skills required.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage projects independently with minimal supervision.
