Description Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a well-qualified Postdoctoral Associate in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science/Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Economics, Business or a related field for the Decision Sciences Department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off. You will report to your group lead and department manager. You will have a demonstrated proficiency in statistics, mathematics, programming (Python, Java), systems modeling (system dynamics, agent-based modeling) or other quantitative fields that can be used in operations research, management science and supply chain modeling. Responsibilities Include:<ul><li>Work in a multi-disciplinary team using a wide range of modeling tools and approaches to solve problems across bioenergy, electric vehicle, batteries, supply chain resilience and manufacturing.</li><li>Help develop current and new projects at the INL using computational approaches including discrete event simulation, system dynamics and agent-based modeling.
