The Role
The Chapter Leader, Fidelity Health Digital Technology is responsible for leading across all Fidelity Health’s products as a trusted advisor, providing direction and guidance on all aspects of the Digital technology delivery. Working with business stakeholders, executive leadership and agile development teams, you will lead a team of chapters leaders in the delivery of technology projects, engineering best practices and defining a digital strategy to meet the business vision. This is a blended role, requiring a combination of leadership, mentoring skills alongside deep technical expertise.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technology-related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Software, etc.)
10+ years of software development experience with increasing leadership responsibilities
Ability to define a digital technology vision, strategy and solutions to align with business priorities.
Strong business insight and ability to recommend technical solutions to achieve desired business outcome
General knowledge of the Healthcare industry is a plus
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset to work seamlessly across organizational boundaries.
You exhibit strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills to navigate a matrixed environment with a range of priorities and perspectives
You are comfortable leading, advising, and empowering team leaders and members
You lead leaders in all aspects of performance management, goal setting, coaching, development, and engagement
You are skilled at running a highly diverse, non-co-located agile organization
Your knowledge of web/mobile architecture, trends, and emerging technologies supports your desire to experiment and work with the latest technologies
You understand the end-to-end development lifecycle and have proven results implementing DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery practices across Web and Mobile frameworks and languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Angular, and Java
