The Colleague Experience Group (CEG) – our Human Resources function – has a simple vision: to provide a great colleague experience every day. We obsess over understanding the colleague experience at a deeper level to co-create simple and great ways of working that enable everyone to be and deliver their best. We make a difference in the lives of our people, providing a culture of learning and collaboration, and helping them with what they need to succeed and thrive. We have their backs as they grow their skills, conquer new challenges, or even take time to spend with their family or community. And when they are ready to take on a new career path, we are right there with them, giving them the guidance and momentum into the best future they envision.
We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to join us in supporting the VP, Senior Colleague Strategic Partner (CSP) for Global Servicing (GS) — the heartbeat of Amex customer experience worldwide. Why This Role Matters

If you’re ready to step into a high-visibility role where strategy meets execution, and where your work directly fuels both colleague success and customer delight — we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
As Chief of Staff, you’ll be the strategic right hand to the VP, driving projects and processes that keep our CSP team operating at its best. You’ll:
- Shape big-picture impact by coordinating initiatives that directly influence how our colleagues and leaders deliver for customers.

- Set the rhythm for success by creating timelines, templates, and guidance that empower Chief of Staff peers across the business to seamlessly support their leaders.
In this role, you’ll be at the center of high-impact initiatives, ensuring our colleagues and leaders have the support they need to thrive. Specifically, you will:
- Act as the go-to connector for the CSP team, driving key CEG processes, initiatives, and projects from start to finish.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver end-to-end execution of critical HR programs, including talent assessment, succession planning, performance management, compensation, colleague scorecards, and annual surveys.
- Turn insights into action by analyzing human capital data, identifying trends, and presenting compelling reports to senior leaders including the Senior CSP and Business Unit President.
- Be the bridge between the Business Unit Executive Office and CSP team, ensuring alignment, compliance, and the consistent use of best practices across the enterprise.
- Provide people leadership to a data analyst, empowering them to deliver actionable insights and supporting their professional development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a highly matrixed organization
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility across peers and senior stakeholders
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate to drive business objectives
- Sharp attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision
