Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Engineer will assist in leading initiatives in Customer and Account management & and Security Master and Pricing applications with a diverse scope and will act as the main interface between end users, product owners, and the information technology organization. Additionally, provide support through deep technical knowledge of distributed systems, understanding of business processes and system workflows. Closely work with the Engineering leads, Enablement leads and participate in research to identify effective new solutions design. We combine the software development skills with native tooling from cloud providers and enterprise tooling from Fidelity to help develop cloud centric ecosystem employing modern architecture and services.
The Expertise and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Engineering field
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Proven experience with sophisticated architectural builds and technology initiatives
- Passion for technology and can stay on top of the newest technology trends
- Highly motivated teammate with strong communication, and organization skills
- Experience working in agile development environment
- Hands on experience in Test Driven Development
Experience implementing solutions using the following technologies:
- Application development on Public Cloud - AWS Managed Services, ECS, EC2, EKS, Serverless Framework/Lambda, API Gateway, Step Function, S3, ALB, Route53
- Containerization technology like Docker (deployed on ECS, EKS)
- REST API development using Java, SpringBoot, NodeJS
- Experiecne with Database: Oracle, NoSQL Database (DynamoDB)
- Repository Management – Github/Bitbucket
- Support tools like Splunk/Datadog/Kibana
Nice to have experience:
- DevOps CI/CD tools like Terraform, Jenkins
- Develop/Implement automated test cases using BDD, TDD testing framework (JEST, Cucumber, Mocha, Selenium, Istanbul)
- Good understanding of Digital Certificate management
