Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with a minimum of 1–2 years of experience to join our Engineering team. You will be part of a design team developing innovative military and airborne products. You will build both quick-turn prototypes and production parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program and operate CNC milling machines and laser cutters
- Operate press brake, drill press, lathe and other tools
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary
- Conduct quality control inspections on finished products
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Proficient in operating CNC machinery and other tools
- Knowledge of basic shop math (metric conversion and arithmetic)
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software to generate programs for CNC machines
- Proficient in use of Measuring Equipment and able to verify conformance of machined work piece to specifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
- 1-2 years minimum of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is preferred
