Composition and Research Adjunct - COM Department for COM 101

The Department of Communication and Digital Media Marketing is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor for Composition and Research for the Fall semester. We are specifically seeking an instructor who is available to teach in person during the day for a Tuesday/Thursday section.Position ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will teach a first-year Composition and Research course that develops students' academic writing, critical thinking, research, and information literacy skills. The instructor will create an engaging, student-centered classroom while maintaining high academic standards and supporting students throughout the writing process.Qualifications

• Master's degree in English, Composition and Rhetoric, Writing Studies, Communication, or a closely related field required.
• Previous college-level teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective composition pedagogy and writing instruction.
• Experience integrating research, information literacy, and writing process strategies into first-year writing courses is highly desirable.
