Job Title: Consultant, Business Analysis

The Role

The primary objective of the role is to provide a wide range of consultation, analytics, and strategic support. Our contribution drives data-driven decisions, improves outcomes and financial results for the broader organization. You will be conducting consultative analytics and crafting executive level recommendations for organizational collaborators and line finance. You will also provide a broad range of ad hoc analytical support to business partners and offer mentorship to your team members. The analyses and insights delivered are important components to drive business planning and ongoing decision making!

The Expertise & Skills You Bring

  • The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in the financial service industry, with experience using data and analytics to drive and inform strategy. Capacity Planning knowledge is advantageous.

  • Degree, experience, or equivalent experience in a quantitative analysis field (Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or Business.)

  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools, analyzing large data sets, modeling, and presentation tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) with experience in Tableau, Power BI etc.

  • Experience working with offshore teams preferred

  • Fidelity experience is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate efficiently with Finance and colleagues across different levels of the organization

  • Intellectually curious and willing to ask questions and challenge status quo to benefit the organization

  • Outstanding analytical and problem- solving skills, working independently to perform most analyses. Comfortable working through ambiguous asks and ideas from concept to delivery

  • Demonstrates confidence with addressing senior leadership while influencing action and decision making

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Dedicated and driven to pursue creative solutions that challenge conventional approaches

  • Executive presence, thought leadership and ability to influence others across the organization

  • Guiding and adaptable standout colleague

  • Ability to respond to shifting priorities while maintaining progress of regularly scheduled work

  • Provide analyses and strategic recommendations to leaders, team, and colleagues

  • Synthesize and curate data, analyses, and conclusions into self-service dashboards or presentation format for senior leaders

  • Find opportunities to streamline work processes to make the team more efficient and effective

  • Proactive partnership and communication with business and finance partners

  • Use tools and business knowledge to continuously provide insightful information, reporting and analytics that evolve with changes in the business

  • Give to the finance community with your energy, passion, and team spirit

The Team

The Capacity Planning team is where we deliver impactful, insightful capacity data analytics and intelligence to our colleagues and business partners. We work with the business to understand investment opportunities and provide cost benefit analyses to support decision making.

The base salary range for this position is $79,000-153,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
