CONSULTANT, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT – Fidelity Health Emerging Products Innovation Team
As a Product Development Consultant, you blend deep experience in health care benefits and product development with a passion for analysis, harnessing technology to solve complex business problems, while focusing to deliver and implement technology solutions within a digital experience. You will work closely with the Emerging Products Innovation Team and technology partners to determine how to enable innovation opportunities for Fidelity Health and enable broader innovation in our digital environments. The Team
The Product Development Consultant will be part of the Fidelity Health Emerging Products Innovation Team (FHEPIT). FHEPIT’s mission is to bring new and innovative capabilities to Fidelity Health, addressing critical customer needs such as health care navigation, employer-sponsored benefits optimization, and rising health care costs.
You will work alongside innovation product leads on the team, to partner with business leaders, technology, and external vendor partners to develop and implement product and service features in health care applications, from inception to delivery. Alongside the emerging products squad lead and innovation tech team, you will determine the development strategy and technical feasibility of new innovation opportunities for Fidelity Health.
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Solid understanding of the Fidelity business with work experience in health care and/or benefits administration and/or product development
- 6+ years Systems Development Business Analyst experience, ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment, with demonstrable ability to work across multiple multi-functional teams
- Shown expertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
- Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; Experience with JIRA or similar agile backlog management and testing tool
- Experience with early-stage design, development and rapid iteration in an Agile environment is a plus
- Experience with Data analysis, SQL or basic database concepts is a plus

The Value You Deliver
- Leading and conducting business analyses to formulate and make recommendations on the evaluation and build of new opportunities to expand our footprint in the health care space
- Collaborate with business partners, development teams, and QA on plans, project management, requirements, design, testing, and implementation of solutions throughout the development lifecycle
- Supporting deployment, business readiness, and solution enablement, e.g., defining and documenting enablement tasks, supporting user procedure documentation, creation and delivery of solution training to internal teams, and communication
