Contract Administrator II (Temp to Hire)
We’re looking for an experienced Contract Administrator (Temp to Hire) who thrives in a fast-moving environment and knows how to balance legal, sales, and operational priorities. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully managed complex contract workflows, negotiated commercial terms, and improved contracting processes within a growing organization.
The right person is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable acting as a key partner to multiple business units. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our contracts move efficiently from negotiation to execution while protecting the company and maintaining strong customer relationships.
This position requires hands-on experience reviewing, negotiating, and managing sales agreements, order forms, and Statements of Work, along with the confidence to provide initial responses to customer redlines and identify when issues need to be escalated.
We value experience, demonstrated accomplishments, and sound business judgment over strict credential requirements.
- Serve as a key point of coordination to internal stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Review, edit, and manage complex sales contract packages, Order Forms, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Provide first-round responses to customer redlines, leveraging company playbooks and established negotiation positions.
- Support the negotiation of commercial and contractual terms, escalating non-standard or high-risk provisions when appropriate.
- Maintain and administer contract templates, playbook language, and document management systems.
- Manage incoming contract requests and maintain the team workflow queue to ensure timely processing.
- Oversee contract execution processes, including electronic signatures, distribution, and proper record retention.
- Interpret and validate legacy contracts, support renewals, and assist sales teams with contract-related questions.
- Identify opportunities to improve contract processes, increase efficiency, and reduce cycle time, helping drive operational improvements.
- Track and communicate the status of active contracts and contracting processes to management and stakeholders.
- Escalate complex or non-standard matters received in the corporate mailbox to appropriate internal teams.
- Assist with maintaining business licenses and compliance documentation.
- Create and maintain consultant Statements of Work.
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of hands-on contract administration experience, ideally supporting sales or commercial contracting.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, SaaS/software contracts, or services agreements.
- Strong working knowledge of contract language, risk identification, and common negotiation points in technology or services agreements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across teams and with customer procurement contacts.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and proactively drive contracts forward.
- Experience improving workflows, templates, or contracting processes is highly valued.
- Experience working with common contracting and business tools, such as:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Salesforce
- DocuSign
- Document management or contract lifecycle management platforms
- Must be willing to work at least 6 months with a possibility to go permanent
