This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work with our Autonomous Vehicle Partner in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. The internship will run for a month, but could go longer, providing valuable experience alongside industry professionals in an innovative and fast-paced setting.Position Overview

The Automotive Technician Specialist will be dedicated to a specialized project involving autonomous vehicles, fostering customer loyalty by building trust and ensuring confidence in AutoNation as a trusted provider of vehicle safety and reliability.

What are the requirements for this job?

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior experience as an express/quick lube technician preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency with hand tools and strong attention to detail.
  • Process Adherence: Ability to follow established procedures to ensure quality and safety.
  • Licensing: Must have a valid in-state driver’s license with a clean and safe driving record.
  • Compensation: $28.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Must be available to work Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

  • Performing vehicle work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with customer standards.
  • Communicating with Service Manager and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.

Compensation: $28.00 per hour
