Controller
AIEngineers, Inc. (AIE) is seeking a Controller to join our corporate Financeteam in an onsite capacity in Middletown, Connecticut. This role overseesaccounting and financial operations, budgeting and forecasting, internalcontrols, compliance and audits and many other responsibilities within thefinancial operations of the company.
Theideal candidate is a highly skilled and detailoriented professional with astrong foundation in corporate finance and compliance, preferably withexperience in the architecture, engineering or construction services industry.This position offers the opportunity to work closely with crossfunctionalteams and oversee financial strategy, accounting processes and ensuringcorporate compliance.

Requirements/ Qualifications
- Bachelors degree, accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
- Masters degree, in business or finance is preferred
- Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
- Experience working with financial or accounting software such as Ajera or Deltek preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and tax compliance
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations
- Develop and implement cash management policies, manage investments following legal and company policies, minimize idle funds
- Install and maintain internal control systems to support financial policies and meet state/federal requirements
- Lead budget development, monitoring and variance analysis
- Coordinate with auditors and external accounting services to ensure adherence to tax, financial reporting and other regulatory standards
- Use integrated financial systems for reporting and analysis as well as process improvement
- Partner with operations, procurement, and management to support cost control, pricing and profitability
