The Role
The Coordinator, Commonwealth Pier PMO role supports the Director, Commonwealth Pier Program Management and plays a key part in the activation and opening of Commonwealth Pier. This pivotal position bridges strategy and operational program management, ensuring the flawless delivery of a defined program. You will be involved in hands-on coordination, readiness checks, and crafting a seamless workplace experience for associates and visitors. Key Responsibilities
  • Complete assigned program tasks related to opening activities.
  • Prepare spaces for associate and vendor visits, walkthroughs, and readiness checks.
  • Assist with on-site coordination, including signage placement, workspace setup, and inventory management.
  • Support preparations for move-in days and employee onboarding activities.
  • Maintain checklists, trackers, and provide simple status updates.
On-Site Support
  • Be present during key project phases (move-ins, installations, punch-list reviews).
  • Assist with badge distribution, wayfinding, and setup of temporary workspaces.
  • Identify minor issues (missing items, labeling needs, readiness gaps) and bring them up to the Program Manager.
  • Welcoming associates and visitors, providing wayfinding, information, and answering questions.
Communication & Support
  • Provide clear, timely updates to the Program Manager on finished tasks and problems.
  • Assist in preparing materials for employee communications (agendas, instructions, move guides).

The Commonwealth Pier Program Management Office (PMO) directs the organizational strategy and implementation supporting the activation of the newly redeveloped Commonwealth Pier. We are tasked with guaranteeing a smooth transition into the new workplace environment and offering an exceptional experience for associates, leaders, and visitors. Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
