Coordinator - Student Success/Access and Opportunity

Jefferson Community College, Watertown, New York, a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is conducting a search for a Coordinator - Student Success/Access and Opportunity.

The Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and management of service delivery, programming, and administrative functions within their assigned department. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing and executing a variety of operational and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the departmental needs. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, and the development and implementation of programs and services to support the college community. This position is contingent upon grant funding.

Professional staff are expected to advance the College's focus on student success and completion and will work closely with the College's leadership to advance the mission of the Strategic Plan, which may be reviewed by clicking on the link below.

Required: Grade 5 positions require a minimum of 4 years of professional experience and a Master's degree; or 6 years of appropriate professional experience and a Bachelor's Degree.

Applicants must interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations, foster inclusion, and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education.

Preferred: Experience in higher education or related field preferred.

Advertised Salary: $52,240/yr. for well-qualified individuals. Salary is determined based upon experience and education in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement as well as internal equity.
