Job Summary

This position provides UK students direct psychological services and programming as well as providing outreach, training, crisis intervention and consultation services. This position has administrative responsibilities for the day-to-day operations of the UKCC, specifically related to management of clinical services. These functions support the Center and University missions of retention and student success as well as fostering a safe environment conducive to learning and positive student development.

Student Success will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a community of learners in achieving success.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Demonstrated knowledge and skill in providing psychological services, consultation, crisis intervention, and psychoeducational programming in a college or university environment. Demonstrated experience in clinical supervision to support and develop a multi-disciplinary staff (LCSWs, Licensed Psychologists, practicum students and APA pre-doctoral interns). Demonstrated ability to provide administrative and operational leadership to a staff.

Preferred Education/Experience

Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology5 years of experience, preferably with at least 2 years in a university counseling center, with increasing levels of supervisory and administrative duties
