Job Description:

Corporate Risk is seeking a hard-working and driven professional to join the team! You will support businesses across Fidelity in strengthening control environment across different products and programs. S Data Analytics Senior Manager you will apply your analytics and automation skills while learning about data sources from across Fidelity’s varied businesses and technologies. You will work closely with business partners to deliver new insights, develop automated workflows, and improve their decision-making capabilities.

Corporate Risk supports in identifying, monitoring and mitigating risks associated with Fidelity’s businesses both traditional and growing capabilities. This position is accountable for developing and maintaining automation and analytics solutions which provide insight into risk. You will participate in all phases of a data analytics project lifecycle – from framing the business question/hypothesis, identifying the appropriate data sources, sourcing the relevant data, performing sophisticated analytics, and reporting on the results. You will use data to answer ad-hoc questions and develop data-centric solutions that will be deployed to users throughout the firm.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in data and analytics

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field like Engineering, Mathematics. Master’s degree a plus

  • Analytic expertise working with structured and unstructured data to identify key insight

  • Experience performing data exploration, building business intelligence reports and developing visualizations (using OBIEE, Power BI, or Tableau)

  • Experience building and deploying ETL jobs (Alteryx, Informatica, etc.)

  • You are skilled at defining use cases and have shown analytical & problem-solving skills with ability to address unusual and sophisticated problems

  • Inherently good attention to detail, collaborative, and ability to multi-task and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Track record of delivering practical insights using data and communicating insights in a simple, clear, and actionable way

  • You have excellent knowledge of Excel, database queries and analytical tools and methodologies

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry particularly regulatory requirements

  • Exemplify passion for your work, operating with a sense of purpose that encourages and motivates the entire team

  • Critical thinking and intellectual curiosity with desire to continuously learn new skills

  • Experience in an Audit, Risk, Compliance or Security function.

  • Knowledge of various risk and compliance programs, risk management practices and frameworks are added advantage

  • Understanding of GRC systems such as Archer
