Job Description

The Data Analytics Intern will support the Planning & Measurement team in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive business performance.

This role is ideal for someone curious about agency work and passionate about data storytelling, someone who wants to understand how data moves from acquisition to insight, and how it ultimately informs both internal strategy and client-facing reporting.

Working closely with the Business Intelligence Engineer and broader team, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to data warehousing, dashboard development, exploratory analysis, and reporting workflows. This is not a pure engineering internship, it’s designed for someone who wants to become a well-rounded analytics professional who can translate data into actionable results.

INTERNSHIP DETAILS

This is a hybrid position reporting two days a week (Monday & Thursday) to our Hudson Yards, NYC office.

Duration: 11 weeks | May 26 – August 7, 2026
Schedule: Monday – Friday
10:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, (one-hour unpaid lunch break)

*Candidates must be available for all 11 weeks

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Support the full Planning & Measurement team on analytics initiatives and reporting needs
• Assist in exploratory analysis using tools like Snowflake and Tableau
• Help review and analyze field survey results and performance data
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of internal dashboards and client-facing reports
• Validate and cross-check data for accuracy
• Assist in documenting data processes and supporting automation efforts
• Participate in testing and evaluating AI-driven analytics platforms or data tools
• Observe and contribute to the full data lifecycle

Qualifications

• Working toward or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 21 years of age or older
• Passion for data storytelling and translating numbers into insight
• Strong Excel skills
• Exposure to SQL
• Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in agency work and cross-functional collaboration
• Occasional travel as required
• Manage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards

Additional Information

The compensation for this job classification is between $16.00-$17.00 hourly or applicable state wage. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service, brand program, and geographic location.
