The Role
As an Associate in Workplace Consulting (Retirement Practice), you will be collaborating with large defined contribution clients on strategies to align retirement benefit programs with business objectives and goals under overarching ERISA or other regulatory requirements. This includes handling projects, including defined contribution calculations, mergers & acquisitions support, retirement plan design analysis, preparing and delivering client presentations, and creating project plans to establish internal and external expectations. The Expertise and Skills
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in mathematics, economics, business, or another quantitatively thorough subject
0-3 years of experience in 401(k), 403(b) industry or benefits consulting
Curiosity about pursuing ASPPA QKA or QKC (a plus)
Skills required for the role:
Curiosity about learning legislative and regulatory requirements (ERISA/IRS/DOL) for qualified and non-qualified defined contribution plan programs
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including the ability to establish relationships at multiple organizational levels and work (as needed) with individuals in cross-office locations
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with spreadsheet and database programs
Ability to learn quickly and develop sophisticated spreadsheets to perform quantitative analysis
Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
Outstanding collaboration skills

The base salary range for this position is $67,000-$127,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
