Position Summary
The Demand Planner is a critical role responsible for enhancing the accuracy and effectiveness of the demand forecasting process, supporting strategic decision-making across Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain operations. This role contributes to the development and execution of robust forecasting models, working cross-functionally to align demand plans with broader business objectives and ensure optimal inventory management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the development of accurate, data-driven demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and statistical models.
- Facilitate consensus meetings where there is collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Planning teams to gather and integrate key business insights into the forecast.
- Communicate risks and opportunities in the demand plan to senior leadership, proposing mitigation or enhancement strategies.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and demand variances; identify root causes of deviations and implement continuous improvements.
- Facilitate monthly forecast maintenance activities to improve forecast accuracy.
- Drive improvements to demand planning process, tools, and meetings.
- Provide visibility into product performance, market demand shifts, and consumption trends to inform strategic planning.
- Contribute to business case development for new product introductions and strategic initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the successful execution of the role.

Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in demand planning, analytics or supply chain required.
- Advanced Analytics preferred (Data Management).
- Advanced Planning Tool experience required (i.e. JDA, APO)
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Identify business process opportunities and implement improvements.
- Strong strategic and business sense.
- Advanced excel skills preferred
The salary range for this role is a base salary of $78,900- $86,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, and medical and wellness benefits. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience and skill set against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
