May require sitting for long periods, using a computer for extended periods, and going from place to place on campus. Occasionally will travel off campus.
Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm usually, occasionally requires more hours outside that period and on the weekends.
Job Summary
The Deputy Director of Case Management will report to the Executive Director/Title IX Coordinator and will investigate and help to ensure the timely resolution of assigned reports of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, and sexual misconduct involving members of the University community.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Executive Director/Title IX Coordinator with the University’s Title IX compliance efforts
- Assist the Executive Director/Title IX Coordinator of Investigations by providing subject-matter expertise on the requirements of and compliance with Title IX, VAWA, the Clery Act, FERPA, and related federal and state laws
- Assist the Executive Director/Title IX Coordinator in managing a comprehensive case management system that includes each reported complaint involving discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, and sexual misconduct

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
In-depth knowledge of University policies and procedures, federal and state equal opportunity regulations, and Title IX regulations. Requires significant discretion and independent judgment—the ability to maintain confidentiality.
