Pay Rate: $53,920 - $67,010/per year. Pay will be determined based on related work experience above required. To be considered in determining pay, all related work experience must be listed on the application.

Position Summary: The Deputy Title IX Coordinator and Investigator will develop, implement and evaluate the college’s Title IX program that is aligned with the strategic mission of the college and its core values. The Deputy Title IX Coordinator and Investigator is responsible for managing the day-to day responsibilities associated with Title IX and will assist with (or if assigned by the Executive Director) will conduct other investigations including related to Title VI, Disability discrimination and other Institutional Compliance Office matters as necessary.
Essential Functions:
30%
- Provide strategic leadership to coordinate and manage the College's Title IX efforts, including the development and implementation of programs at all campus sites for employees and students;
- Serve as subject-matter expert and remain current on requirements of compliance with non-discrimination laws and regulations concerning Title VI, Title IX, VAWA, Campus SaVE, sexual harassment and sexual misconduct, relationship violence;
- Responsible for the monitoring of appropriate disclosures, policies, procedures and practices designed to comply with TBR, PSCC, federal and state legislation, regulations, and case law requiring the prompt and equitable resolution of all complaints pursuant to applicable laws and/or institutional policies;
- Assist with strengthening campus culture in support of a safe and respectful work and learning environment through leading education, training, prevention, outreach efforts related to non-discrimination, Title IX, SaVE, Sexual Misconduct, relationship violence and retaliation;
- Responsible to consult with and/or keep campus leadership and other appropriate policy-making bodies informed of relevant activities of the Title IX program for the purpose of advising, clarifying and identifying necessary action to eliminate protected class discrimination in all educational programs and activities;
- Oversee the selection and training of Decision Makers and panel members to ensure application of consistent practices and fair standards for all complaints;
- Responsible for tracking, analyzing, maintaining and reporting data related to Title IX, sexual misconduct, discrimination and harassment case information in the Maxient incident management system.

- Serve as a resource for students, faculty, staff and the administration on Title IX issues including harassment, domestic violence and sexual misconduct. Provide support for the complainant and respondent and information about the process.
- Coordinate campus-wide education and training and annual Title IX Campaign outreach programs for employees and students; plan and execute activities during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, etc.
- Develop the content and periodically review the College’s Title IX webpage and ensure the information is accurate and current at all times.

- Receive complaints and inquiries of sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, relationship violence, stalking, retaliation and other protected class discrimination.
- Conduct prompt, thorough and impartial investigations into complaints including preparing an investigative plan and timeline, identifying and interviewing appropriate parties and gathering and assessing supporting data relevant to the investigation. At the conclusion of the investigation utilize judgment to determine whether to resolve the complaint formally or informally and provide a report of findings to appropriate parties utilizing appropriate college policy (P-80, Sexual Misconduct). This should be a comprehensive investigative report that includes recommended sanctions and/or remedial actions, when appropriate. Must work closely with the Executive Director of Institutional Compliance and Title IX Coordinator, TBR general counsel and submit final report to the President for review and approval.
- Responsible for keeping complete records of investigations, including detailed description of allegations, notes on all interviews, outcome of investigations, and any action taken. Responsible for maintaining records in the Maxient database to ensure that all Institutional Compliance forms are updated and accurate.
10% Collaborate with designated officials in offices such as Human Resources, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Dean of Students Office, Campus Police Department, Counseling Services, Disability Services, Campus Deans and other key stakeholders on complaints and/or concerns presented to Institutional Compliance.
10% Assist with development, review and implementation of PSCC trainings, flyers, website information, outreach initiatives, and other educational tools. Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required. J.D. or master’s degree preferred.
Years of Experience: At least five years’ professional experience working in a collaborative environment in advancing compliance Demonstrated ability to work with confidential and/or sensitive information and have the ability to conduct internal investigations. Must have familiarity with Title IX, Title VI, ADA, Non-Discrimination, VAWA, Campus SaVE, and other state and federal anti-discrimination laws, rules and regulations.
Experience investigating or adjudicating allegations of sexual misconduct and /or domestic violence preferred. A background in student affairs, student conduct, legal, human resources, equity and inclusion or a closely related field preferred
Part-time work experience is calculated at 50% credit of full-time work experience.
