DevOps Engineer
We are currently sourcing for a DevOps Engineer to work in Westlake, TX or Durham, NC!

The Role
As a DevOps Automation engineer, you will help teams in improving the overall operational excellence of the databases by enabling DevOps practices for Database & Replication platforms. You’ll work on building compelling user interface applications that enables end to end capabilities as part of our autonomous, multi-functional teams. You’ll have the opportunity to chip in to building solutions on-prem and also cloud that helps applications to deliver with quality and agility. You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn. We're looking for highly motivated individuals who work well in a collaborative, iterative, and fast-paced environment.
The Expertise You Have and the Skills You Bring
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field
- 6-8 plus years of software engineering experience with at least 4 years in development (using Java, NodeJS, Golang, Python)
- At least 2-3 years of experience working in Agile Scrum model
- Strong knowledge of HTTP based APIs, Networking and how the internet works
- Proven work experience in AWS lambda, IAM, VPC, Security Group, ECS, EKS, S3 and Cloud formation and Database technologies (RDS, Aurora & Dynamo)
- Knowledge in infrastructure as code tools like – Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
- Experience in Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline configuration highly preferred
- Experience in Flyway and/or Liquibase is beneficial
- Technical Certifications in Java or AWS would be an advantage
