Fidelity Investments is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Database Security and Detection Team within the Software Engineering Domain, supporting Enterprise Cyber Security
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology discipline
- 3-6 years of experience in a DevOps team developing functionality to support applications as well as integrating 3rd party software components into an ecosystem.
- Experience with automation (Jenkins, etc) and scripting knowledge (Perl, Python, etc)
- Experience in database platforms (Oracle, DB2, RDS) within IaaS/PaaS is required.
- Experience working with Database Activity Monitoring or SIEM tools is preferred (jSonar preferred)
- Experience in working with cloud computing technologies (MS Azure / AWS) is beneficial
- Knowledge of Agile/DevOps Methodologies
- Strong knowledge of supporting operating systems (Linux and Windows)
- Familiarity with security standards, regulations and reports (PCI, SOX, HIPPA, GDPR, ISO 27001)
- Excellent system analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience Troubleshooting Difficult Technical Problems
- You will deliver engineering solutions and capabilities that deepen our ability to monitor database activity to support our Cybersecurity initiative
- You will be responsible for providing ongoing production support including incident, change and release management activities
- You will be required to participate in our global on-call rotation to ensure platform availability and stability
- You will be responsible for technology lifecycle management activities
- You will use well established enterprise standards, processes and procedures to ensure engineering activities are delivered in a timely fashion with high quality of work product
