DevOps Engineer

The Role

Fidelity is looking for a DevOps engineer to join the Brokerage Technology development & Infrastructure team. You will be joining the Portal Enablement product Area of our institutional brokerage trading websites, Wealthscape and Wealthscape Investor. In this role, you will be responsible for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Support of portal web applications. You’ll work on Infrastructure upgrades, developing, maintaining critical customer-facing web applications both on-prem & cloud. Your work will impact the thousands of registered investment advisors, correspondents, and individual investors who use our platform.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Recent direct experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot applications.
• Experience with Infrastructure upgrades and maintenance of on-prem Vm’s.
• Developing/Deploying software in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborating with colleagues on technical implementation and process improvement
• Experience with Apache Webservers, Golang, and Envoy (reverse proxy tool)
• Experience in Angular/TypeScript is a plus
• Build end-to-end observability (logs, metrics, traces, RUM).
• Experience implementing AI-driven anomaly detection, alert routing, and incident triage is a plus.
• Experience developing and maintaining Cloud applications.
• Experience with AWS-based deployment and Infrastructure as code.
• Experience working with Terraform, EKS, Networking and AWS security.
• Knowledge of Docker containerization.
• Knowledge of Jenkins and Jenkins pipeline construction
• Experience working with UDeploy, Artifactory, Sonar, ServiceNow
• Sets and apply standards and ensures the work performed is aligned with established technological road maps.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
