Job Summary

This is a student position in the College of Arts and Sciences. Under the direction of the Communications Manager, the Digital Media Assistant will create digital signage and assist with creative services for departments. Working within our communication and marketing strategy, the Digital Media Assistant will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of communication, working on real-time projects and helping to shape the university’s digital narrative.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
  • Strong design skills.
  • Experience working with Canva.
  • Some experience with or knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Eager and self-starter, always seeking content ideas and new skills.
  • Knowledge of what content would be of interest to current UK students.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to organization and time management.
  • Ability to represent yourself professionally as a representative of UK.
  • Knowledge of UK branding.
  • Ability to work independently and sometimes virtually.
  • Open to constructive feedback.
