Founded in 2002, Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive, not simply struggle to get by, in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Operation Homefront is sourcing candidates for a Director, Corporate Partnerships- New Business Services position (remote).

The Director of Corporate Partnerships - New Business serves as a strategic leader responsible for driving approximately $4M in national new business development and managing a portfolio of high-value corporate partnerships. Leading a Manager of Corporate Partnerships, the Director sets vision and priorities for cultivating and closing six- and seven-figure cash and in-kind partnerships from partners that are new to Operation Homefront, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and brand strategy. This role oversees the full partnership lifecycle—from prospect identification and pipeline development to proposal creation, contract negotiation, and program activation—while fostering collaboration with all involved internal departments. As a senior representative of the New Business Team, the Director safeguards the brand and champions innovative engagement strategies that deliver a measurable impact for both partners and the mission. Working closely and collaboratively with the Manager of Partner Engagement, the Director ensures that activations are achieved when needed. Once new partners are renewed, the Director ensures the accounts are thoughtfully transitioned to the Corporate Partnerships Team.

Desired candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, Masters degree a plus.
  • 7-10 years of experience in corporate sales, preferably within a nonprofit setting.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Criminal background check
  • MVR – Motor Vehicle Report (annual)
  • Microsoft Office 365

Primary job duties include:

  • Secure transformative partnerships, closing six- and seven- figure cash and in-kind partnerships in support of an annual goal of approximately $4M.
  • Oversee the full partnership lifecycle—from prospect identification and pipeline development to proposal creation, contract negotiation, and program activation—for all accounts in the portfolio, all while fostering collaboration with all involved internal departments.
  • Provides coaching and mentorship to one manager, instilling a results-oriented, collaborative culture that values creativity and accountability.
  • Other duties as assigned

Other Details:

General office and sedentary. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Ability to drive a motor vehicle and travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events as needed. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
