Role Description:

This Director role reports to the VP of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Products and Solutions team. The Director will lead the development and execution of EDM Products, creating a comprehensive set of reporting and metrics, and solutioning & implementing an enterprise framework for data tooling. This role requires a strong blend of product management expertise, business strategy, and technical acumen to deliver transformative data solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle of high-impact enterprise data products.
  • Drive adoption of best-in-class product management practices in data product development, including user-centric design, agile delivery, and metrics-driven prioritization.
  • Collaborate with data owners, stewards, architecture, and engineering teams to ensure data products are scalable, high-quality, and compliant.
  • Drive enterprise-wide enablement of reporting and insights against all the Data Risks through standardized, governed data products and services.
  • Lead the strategy and delivery of self-service reporting frameworks and visualization solutions that democratize data access and insights across business units.
  • Partner with business intelligence teams and analytics stakeholders to align reporting capabilities with enterprise metrics, KPIs, and strategic goals.
  • Ensure reporting platforms and outputs are scalable, timely, and actionable, supporting decision-making from executive to operational levels.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture to champion the enterprise-wide adoption and enforcement of standardized data management tools.
  • Oversee solution architecture and ensure alignment with best-in-class practices for data governance, quality, cataloging, metadata, lineage, and access control.
  • Work with Policy, Standards, and Controls team to ensure the Enterprise Data Management ecosystem will meet evolving needs.
  • Promote a culture of data literacy and insight-driven decision-making through enablement, training, and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred prior experience in working in large financial institutions or banking industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; experience in the convenience retail and/or hospitality industry preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product development, data management, or enterprise architecture within a large-scale organization.
  • Deep understanding of modern data platforms, metadata management, data lineage, cataloging, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of analytics solutions, including experience with Generative AI and natural language processing
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data insights into strategic business recommendations. Strong problem-solving skills and experience in driving business results.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams. Prior people leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts for business stakeholders.

Salary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
