Job Summary
The University of Kentucky seeks a proven leader to serve as Director of Dining for the campus. The Director of Dining will serve as liaison and point of contact between the University of Kentucky (UK) and dining partner to ensure contractual commitments are fulfilled with the goal of providing a first-class dining experience for the university community. Primary responsibilities of this position include: Assist dining partner in the daily operations of 2 residential and 21 retail operations. Proper fiscal, facility, and operational management of all UK Dining areas, including monitoring all capital spending on campus related to UK Dining initiatives and managing contingency funds designated for repair, replacement and upgrade of University/UK Dining owned facilities and equipment. The Director of Dining will also participate in project planning and execution of renovations and construction of dining facilities, and in contract negotiations as needed with the dining partner.
