Summary:


A strong marketer and capable leader with a proven track record of shaping and driving insights-based brand strategy to lead Healthcare Professional (HCP) Marketing for the treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF). It is an oral selective factor XIa inhibitor that is a leading asset within the BMS Cardiovascular portfolio, and this position will play a central role in bringing to the US market.

The Director of HCP Marketing will drive in-line marketing and promotional strategy for the planned AF indication, leading key commercial launch initiatives from concept development through execution. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional leaders across Global, Sales, Training, Medical, Market Access, Business Insights & Technology (BI&T) and Patient Access Support Services (PASS) to achieve results and will also play a critical role in providing strong leadership for AF dedicated team members.
We are looking for a dynamic, performance-driven leader with a challenger mindset, who cultivates a team-based, collaborative environment that promotes marketing discipline, innovation and appropriate risk taking.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver the HCP strategy that prepares the brand for a successful US launch.
  • Effectively analyze customer and marketplace insights to assess and prioritize key AF-focused business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the creation of a high performing marketing team for launch by attracting top talent.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs and MLR Advisors to develop AF launch messaging and promotional pieces.
  • In collaboration with Market Access organization, develop and implement comprehensive AF access strategy that it is aligned to and supports the overarching US launch plan.
  • Lead brand efforts to capitalize on strategic customer engagement initiatives through the BMS dynamic engagement platform (CE3/Sophia).
  • Partner with BI&A and Omnichannel Strategy partners to optimize AF Marketing Mix & Channel Selection.
  • Collaborate with the Consumer marketing team to drive a consistent brand identity and presence.
  • Establish a positive, collaborative partnership with sales colleagues to ensure effective execution of brand strategy within the marketplace.
  • Partner with HCP AOR, providing clear expectations, guidance and feedback to agency, ensuring rigor in marketing excellence.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of pharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience.
  • Previous HCP marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in insight mining, message development and marketing analytics; implementing
  • opportunities within brand strategy and driving through execution.
  • Understanding of the cardiovascular marketplace and experience working on a launch brand is recommended but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and connect interrelated activities across the matrix to deliver impactful results.
  • The ability to formulate a winning launch strategy and engage necessary stakeholders to develop a comprehensive plan of action will be critical.
  • Previous people leadership experience, with a track record of success in
    developing talent and building winning teams.
  • Strong ability to effectively drive performance within a matrix organization and/or Alliance/JV, with exceptional organizational, interpersonal communication skills and executive presence.

Compensation Overview:

Princeton - NJ - US: $201,890 - $244,646 


The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
