The Director HR Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures position responsible for leading People MA&D activities from due diligence to integration to deliver transaction success and maximize deal value achievement. This position will represent HR in relevant governance bodies, work with key stakeholders across HR to drive MA&D process, and support efforts to upskill HR MA&D capabilities and is based in Lawrenceville, NJ.
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Engage with the MA&D teams and lead end-to-end transaction from due diligence to integration from an HR perspective and represent the People Organization in relevant governance bodies.
- Develop the People deal strategy and integration (and transition) approach and oversee implementation HR work plans.
- Serves as the primary People Organization point of contact on transactions and point of escalation for People-related matters
- Support the design and staffing of People project teams for each transaction; program management of team member activities to ensure optimal allocation of resources and execution of transaction timeline and deliverables.
- Manage and coordinate external vendors and partners added as augmented resources to enable a success transaction.
- Mobilize key stakeholders across the People Organization (HR Business Partners, COEs, People Services, and external consulting expertise) and ensure coordination with appropriate business and enterprise functions to drive transaction process
- Prepare and deliver project updates and status updates to the People Organization and transaction teams
- Oversee the development of project tracking and KPI dashboard and tools to support project success
- Establish, sustain and continuously improve HR MA&D project governance. Create scalable practice, playbooks and tools to build overall MA&D capabilities within the People Organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of ten (10) or more years of professional HR experience, with at least 5 years of MA&D or related experience
- Global experience strongly preferred
- Experience leading multiple, complex regional and global deals from pre-LOI through post integration
- Demonstrated ability to manage prioritization and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in a large, global and matrixed fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional experience with complex problem solving with high sense of urgency.
- Strong collaboration skills, working with HR leaders, corporate development and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent judgment, professional presence, and the ability to collaborate effectively with, and establish credibility with internal and external business partners.
- Ability to work on site in accordance with BMS hybrid work requirements and travel as necessary to perform job responsibilities effectively.

Compensation Overview:
Princeton - NJ - US: $188,790 - $228,763 
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
