Summary:

This role is responsible for driving the promotion of our I-O Thoracic franchise specifically in relation to OPDIVO+/-YERVOY+/-Chemo combinations to healthcare practitioners. The role will include leading the I-O Thoracic marketing team (specifically in relation to OPDIVO+/-YERVOY+/-Chemo) and partnering with a broad matrix to coordinate the tumor strategy across indications.

This role is a key leader in the Oncology marketing team responsible for both growth of our core in-line business (OPDIVO+/-YERVOY+/-Chemo) across multiple indications & stages of disease as well as preparing for future data readouts.

Responsibilities:

  • Build BMS Oncology Leadership through the development of a differentiated communication platform which clearly & succinctly conveys our brands value
  • Manage performance of the in-line lung indications for OPDIVO+/-YERVOY while ensuring all business levers are optimized
  • Ensure launch excellence of newer indications through close collaboration with the global and matrix team members
  • Lead a team of direct reports as well as the cross-functional matrix team to identify business opportunities or issues to inform a clear path to drive growth.
  • Effectively analyze customer insights, brand performance, market trends & competitive response to inform strategic plan which addresses key challenges and capitalizes on opportunities
  • Driving preparation for key senior management reviews and presentations
  • Foster a culture of inclusion and teamwork across the BMS stakeholder groups

Qualifications:

  • MBA or other Advanced Degree Preferred.
  • Prior people leadership and launch experience valued highly with a minimum of 8 years of marketing
  • Prior experience in Oncology or understanding of the oncology marketplace is recommended.
  • Proven track record of effectively and efficiently driving performance within a matrix organization with strong organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and executive collaboration required.
  • Position requires very strong written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships

The starting compensation for this job is a range from [copy/paste hiring guidelines $200,000-$244,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.

Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
